My best photo was the one of Scott facing away from the light with the Bruins hat on, the light was set up to shine on his back so he would have a light and dark half to his body. The position of the camera was eye level from his side, so I could capture both the lighted and non lighted areas. I was trying to convey a very serious mood unlike the silliness of my other photographs, I tried to do this by making one side of him nicely lit while the other side was dark on the black background. I believe the exposures an levels are pretty good, some photos were really bright so I attempted to not make them too dark or keep them too bright. My weakest portrait is the one where Brendan is holding the baseball in front of him Hamlett-style. I believe this is the weakest of the 6 because the photo was extremely bright and my leveling was subpar. the light was natural, coming in from the window next to Brendan.

My best photo was the photo I was smiling directly at the camera with the light from the window hitting th e right side of my face. I believe this is my best because I like the way it looks and the levels are nice. The photo is from eye level. I was trying to get a light happy mood from the photo wince I had a sadder darker photo in the batch. I showed my face and I did not use any props to achieve my message. I do believe my levels are very good on these self portraits. My least successful photo was probably the one I am looking straight up, I don't like how boring my pose was or how so much light hit my neck in it, throwing lighting balance off a bit.
